Welcome to the Stanwood-Camano Arts Guild
We are a co-op, all volunteer, non-profit 501(c)4 organization dedicated to promoting local Art and artists, and encouraging art appreciation in the community. For over 26 years we have sponsored popular local Art events and continuing Art education classes and workshops.
The Purpose and Mission of the Stanwood Camano Arts Guild is to provide Art training, community among artists, Art scholarships, Special Art events, and a Gallery for artists to sell their art. We highlight local artists while strengthening community associations between local business and artists, and promote our city and county.
A Guilded Gallery
32 local artists… One smart Gallery.
A Guilded Gallery is a co-op, non-profit gallery. Located in downtown East Stanwood near the Amtrak station, the Gallery is the heart of the Guild’s activities, and is open to the public.
Gallery Hours: Tuesday thru Saturday 10am-5pm
Sunday 11am-3pm. Closed Mondays

The Guild is proud to offer volunteer opportunities during our Annual Events and Shows. If you would like to be a part of the local Arts community, contact us at the Guilded Gallery for information. Artists and art enthusiasts are always welcome.
Benefits of joining Stanwood-Camano Arts Guild
Guild membership includes participation and fee discounts for Guild sponsored events.
Membership provides the potential opportunity to join A Guilded Gallery. Space is limited and Guild membership is not a guarantee of acceptance.
The Guild provides fellowship between local artists and fosters support for other regional Art organizations.
Our General Guild Meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of each month at 6pm at A Guilded Gallery. Social hour starts at 5pm.
How to become a Member
Fill out the attached Membership Application and mail it with payment to the address provided or bring it to the next meeting with samples of your work. Each artist applicant is required to present 3 samples of their art to the Guild members during one of our monthly general membership meetings for acceptance to the Guild. Art enthusiasts are not required to jury in or present art.

The Stanwood-Camano Arts Guild is a thriving organization comprised of local artists and art enthusiasts. We are an all-volunteer, non-profit 501(c)4 organization dedicated to promoting local arts and artists by providing venues like Art By The Bay, a street fair in August and Art At The School House in April in conjunction with the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival, not to mention our own Guilded Gallery. We encourage community outreach by offering art classes and scholarships.
The Guild meets monthly on the fourth Wednesday at 5:00pm for lively meetings that begin with a social hour or presentation and conclude with a business meeting. Meetings are open to all.
Members of the Arts Guild are encouraged to participate in all Guild sponsored events and receive discounted fees for some events. Membership also provides the opportunity to apply to join A Guilded Gallery. For an application to join the Arts Guild, please click on the box at the right, come to a Guild meeting, or drop by the Guilded Gallery.
Mission Statement
The Stanwood-Camano Arts Guild is an all volunteer organization celebrating 27 years dedicated to encouraging art appreciation and art participation in the community. We strive for good fellowship among members by encouraging volunteerism and participation in a range of art related activities. We provide educational opportunities to members as well as the greater community, and grant scholarships to aspiring art students. As artists we value an unlilmited range of perspectives and experiences. As a non-profit we are committed diversity and open to all members of our community.

The Stanwood-Camano Arts Guild presents Spring into Art, Regional Juried Art Show.
2019 Fine Art Student Scholarships—Congratulations Alexandra Breed and Camryn Croft!
On May 28th at the Stanwood High School Performing Arts Center both students received scholarships from the Stanwood-Camano Arts Guild thanks, in part, to the generous support of the Adair Family.
In 2018 we gave $2000 and $1500 to local high school students Gracie Brennan and Emily Ringnes respectively. We also awarded our first adult scholarship for a Guilded Gallery class of choice plus supplies to Janet Mott who chose to start her studies with Basic Drawing taught by Val Paul Taylor. So far in 2019 we have awarded a $160 Adult Scholarship to Arts Guild member Coleen Nygard.
