Bill Harrison was raised and educated on the East Coast and worked a portion of his life as an Advertising Art Director, Designer and Illustrator in New York and New Jersey. While working in the world of advertising and marketing, opportunities afforded him to work on national accounts that produced awards for design excellence and creativity. During the same time, his passion for creating fine art and sculpture opened the door for showcasing his art at galleries and art venues. In 1978 he moved to Seattle and continued his dual career. His art reflects a broad range of subjects that is a contrast in oil, acrylic, pastel and mix-media. They incorporate a range of colors designed to capture the mood and essence of each painting. Different techniques are applied from impressionistic, fine detail to abstract. In addition, different types of sculpture are created in Wildlife, Metal, Wood and Mix-Media.
